Orie Hooker and Maggie Burt

Orie Hooker (also known as Margaret later in life) is pictured at left, next to younger cousin Maggie Burt. Orie’s parents died when she was still a young teen, and census records show that Orie lived for a time with her cousin (daughter of George and Mary Burt).
